I’m April (born in the month of May), and also known as The Offbeat Officiant.
I was appointed as a Massachusetts Justice of the Peace in December of 2012, and currently a member of the Massachusetts Justices of the Peace Association. In addition to being a Justice of the Peace, I am an ordained minister of the Universal Life Church, and can perform ceremonies in Rhode Island. I have also completed the Wedding Planning Course at New York Institute of Art & Design. I have been featured in Boston Spirit magazine, a LGBT publication in the Massachusetts and New England area, as well as in The Boston Globe.

Creative, offbeat and open-minded, I welcome all couples and all ideas. My goal is to make the ceremony process stress-free and fun. Together we can create a ceremony that reflects who you are as a couple.

A little bit about me…
I'm happily married to my best friend who I met online in 2002. Together, we have 2 awesome kids, Mayzie and Devin. I enjoy spending time creating art, exploring nature with my family, tending to my little urban homestead with my 4 chickens, psycho cat Chibi, and a betta fish named Marv.

I Do Too! - Starting at $250

This ceremony service includes a customized ceremony based upon your preferences and responses to my questionnaire.
This ceremony service also includes unity ceremonies (sand ceremony, unity candle, handfasting, etc), rituals and readings.
Unlimited communication throughout the entire process.
Final approval of ceremony script prior to the wedding date.
Filing of your marriage license in accordance with state laws.
Keepsake (non-legal) marriage certificate suitable for framing.

Let’s celebrate your story! Creation of a customized and personalized ceremony script, working together, by weaving your story and personality into your unique ceremony.
Unlimited communication throughout the entire process.

*All packages include travel within 20 miles of 02301. Rehearsals are optional and pricing varies depending upon location. Additional fees may apply for travel, tolls and parking.
